I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
We have had a rainy day here, but I don't mind as I have painted some ceilings that needed paint. I will continue tomorrow if the weather stays like this. (It's all about making the most of what you have, isn't it?

I actually want to get into some of my summer clothes again...LOL...I can't remember a year when I've not changed from winter into summer clothes, but this year it's just been too cold to do so most of the time...GBHs...XX

I was talking to a man in Padfield Derbyshire last Sunday( see my poem )He could remember summers when the tar melted in the road ( as I can ) and frying an egg on the pavement.Nostalgia is not what it was but those child-hood summers did seem hotter than even our hottest today. But despite all our complaints I have plants in my garden that 20years ago would not survive the mildest of those 80s winters. There is a change taking place;however as mycorner oftheworld says its a rainy day that gets the ceiling painted...when and how did she know it needed paint?I used to rely on my wife telling me. There's a patch on my bed room ceiling which I am certain has not enlarged for three years.I have the paint in the garage...it is best to be prepared.-

HLOL...don't think men notice ceilings...I do as well...and yes, I've plants in my garden now that thrive all year round...my garden was designed to have greenery in it throughout the year and it has worked...
I can also remember when you could fry an egg on the pavement...gone I fear are those days of hot steamy summers, lovely warm springs and autumns that cooled off but were still very pleasant and winters when it was very cold...now we have almost no definable seasons and that's missed by me anyway...GBHs..XX
