Hi to everybody...had a bit of a disturbed night...would you believe I couldn't get out of my head those darned UPS emails with Trojan Horse attachments out of my head!! I received about 8 or 9 yesterday and, after my virus checker put them in the Vault, I emptied it and then wondered whether that was a mistake...just couldn't stop thinking about it...hmmm...that's bad when damned viruses stop you sleeping...LOL...hubby brought me a cup of tea at 5.50 when he came in from work and then I went back to sleep again because I'd been half awake since 4 and slept through to 10 to wake up to another glorious day of clear blue skies and sunshine...bit blowy but not a cold wind, thank goodness...
Have been round for the paper and now just reading through your posts and checking out my mail...
Hope you have a good day, are having lots of sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all...

Well, it's annoying more than anything else because this is a new computer and I want to keep it free of viruses obviously but to keep receiving darned email with viruses attached is a pain in the butt..my virus checker though is working well, but the odd thing is...there was another one attached to an email I received from a friend and my previous virus checker...same one as now but older, failed to pick it up...that's maddening...GBHs...XXX

I haven't gotten the UPS email myself, and so I was unaware of it until my mom called me at work yesterday. She works part-time, and a colleague at her workplace received an email from UPS. She called to see if I could find a phone number for UPS, which I gave her. Yesterday evening she told me that UPS advised that they did not send an email, that it's a virus.
Given that everything I order online gets delivered by Canada Post to my post office box, I would immediately be suspicious of an email from UPS telling me I have a package. Especially since I know UPS doesn't send email, they leave a sticky note on your door.-

Yes, but when you're expecting a parcel, you might be tempted to open it and then you're infected if your virus checker missed it...have put a warning out on my blog about it but hoped I wouldn't get anymore then had so many yesterday it really annoyed me...have now put a ban on it and asked that all emails with UPS in them be deleted at POP3 end...none today..LOL...GBHs..

It is amazing what we dream about when we sleep. Goes to show you how much that virus vexed you.
